The night following our first collaboration with our friends from Tokyo, Y.Y.G.brewery and beer kitchen, we argued past each other on who would pay the tab Monk’s Cafe in Philly. After too much sake and beer, we were lost in translation, and settled on a game of rock paper scissors.
It was truly a great, one of a kind experience to work with these guys who are a world away from Delco. YYG is a fun, passionate group who are looking to change the beer culture in Japan, where craft beer makes up only 1% market share. The beer we brewed follows their model of using ingredients native to Japan. Look forward to a beer made with sake yeast and Jasmine rice, light hopped, and delicate.
